ABOUT BRIDGING THE GAP

After 25 years, I still find satisfaction and joy in being a runner. I am now in my mid sixties and I walk, jog, run, compete, and test my limits. But, I am more than a runner. I have learned the importance of weight management, nutrition, heart rate monitoring, resistance training, stretching, and flexibility. I have trained and certified as a personal fitness trainer with follow on certifications in weight management, sports nutrition, sports conditioning, and distance running. I want to use my training and 25 years of running/fitness experience to help not just runners avoid the pitfalls and enjoy the benefits of running, but others who want to improve their health, fitness, and/or performance. 

Whether the goal is to walk a mile or to run that first mile without walking, lets get started.  

If your goal is to finish a 10K, half-marathon, a full marathon or to run a personal best, I can show the way. If you want to improve your health, fitness, or performance, I have a plan.

 If weight loss is the goal, I can design your program through cardiovascular exercise, strength training, and sensible nutrition. 

Certified as a personal fitness trainer, sports nutrition specialist, distance running and sports conditioning specialist, I can help bridge the gap from where you are to where you want to be.
